Sycamore Creek

When our team set out to create Sycamore Creek for Nationwide Insurance, we wanted to tell the story of a business through the person helping lead it.

At the heart of this film is Dan Schurr, CEO of Sycamore Creek, a working farm and trucking operation connecting agriculture and transportation. Through his story, we explore the connection between running a business and helping guide an organization that serves businesses like his.

Our goal was to bring a personal perspective to that connection, giving viewers a look at Dan’s day-to-day world and the experience he brings to Nationwide’s Board of Directors.

Sycamore Creek puts a face to the leadership behind Nationwide. We’re proud to help tell Dan’s story and highlight the perspective he brings from the farm to the boardroom.

We filmed at Sycamore Creek over one day, spending time with Dan Schurr in the place where he works and leads. Being on location allowed us to connect his perspective with the daily work of the farm and trucking operation. With a small, dedicated crew, we captured a personal look at Dan’s world and the experience he brings to Nationwide’s Board of Directors.
